Hi gents,

I am looking how to fit an LSD on the Clio V6 gear box with a French specialist.
I wonder if somebody around UK would be interested in order to convince this specialist to launch a small batch and get the best possible price ?

Come on sweet little track boys. Here will be the best improvment you can dream about ...just before booking one week of training course with Jean Ragnotti...

Will fit both mk1 and mk2

Hi,

good to hear ! Some news also for all others who have raised an interest :
The designer has finished the work in CAD form. All components are under quotation. The specialist targets to build the first couple of prototypes this winter to enable us to check if everything is OK and reliable on the car.

Still a few months to wait by I'll keep everybody on track

Have forwarded info on to my mechanical expert as I didn't understand a bit of it.

Hello, here is the piece of art.

I had the chance to "touch" it last week.

You can hear the inside wheel stop spinning when you look at it

Hi,

you can see some indication just above from Yozza. First test drive is planed in September at Ales track. I will try to make some videos

Has anyone had their inside wheel spin in 2nd gear or higher in the dry?

I can appreciate a front-engined car needs one, but there's so much damn weight in the V6! Might help with wet weather traction of course.

I was also wondering if an LSD is necessary ?

When driving on some tight-n-twisties last week I noticed excellent stability and cornering push from the back wheels.

It felt little reminiscent of a torsen diff as I could feel the outside wheel rotating the car round on power exit from corners. I guess this is a combination of the super traction and short wheelbase.

Only had inside wheel wheelspin on one occasion round a tight hairpin on the moors.

This was all in the dry of course - I am sure the situation would be different in the wet with the Vee.

Also the dimensions of diffs like Torsen ones may be such that only a crown wheel and pinion is required to be manufactured so that the diff cartridge can be bolted to the manufactured crown wheel and pinion. Just a guess though as I haven't seen inside the Vee box.
