Light Adjustment function

Hello Peeps,

I have tried searching the site but couldnt find anything but then again i didnt know what to search for......

I have a mk1 Vee and the area near where your right knee would go there is the headlight height ajustment switch.

What is the wheel near this?? It has a light bulb above it??

What does it do and what should the setting be?? At the bottom or top???

its to dim the instrument lights, set it where ever you want.

Argh that makes sense now.

I noticed the other day that everthing look rather dimmed but couldnt work out why.
