LHD xenon headlights

So I'm looking at adjusting the direction of the Xenon lights to be road legal in the rest of Europe. I've heard that these can't be adjusted and new LHD parts are required.

Has anyone done this? What new parts are required and which ones can be reused from the RHD model? Are these the same as the 182/192?

When we took ours to France, renault told us the gas discharge lights don’t need any deflectors as they are aimed differnetly to conventional lights and i’ve heard this since. I’m not entirely convinced but never got flashed etc and never needed to investigate further.
Does the beam pattern look different when parked up close to a wall?
Of no help whatsoever but on our porsche the lights dance about up down left and right when they 1st come on, which is a nightmare at mot time as it would always fail and they have to do manual check on the ground as the poor thing gets confused and lights up the sky.

Good info, from what I've read, the V6 Xenons won't auto adjust as the light motors are disconnected because you can't take any load in the back.

They are flat cut out so there is no difference between EU and UK :approve:
That's great news and would make life so much easier. I always thought that there was modification required. Could you expand on what you mean by "flat cut out"? So they don't aim to any side direction or what?

The top part of the light pattern is blocked so the the light does not dazzle oncoming traffic 180 degree cut out, it’s not like the old lights where the is a second filament with a screen that only partially cuts out the pattern at about 135 degrees and illuminates some of the near side kerb and verge. If you took these on the continent you would dazzle oncoming traffic

Thanks for all the responses. According to the workshop manual pointed out by James, I can see that each bulb has two adjustment actuators which I believe are used to point to the desired direction.
