So after selling my other 225 3 years ago I really needed another but it had to be inferno Orange I was offered this at a good price and in pretty good mechanical condition,as for the body work I'd say pretty good for a 11/12 year old car with 80,000 miles,it had the odd dent and scratch and the usual surface rust behind fuel filler housing.

I had 2 week to strip prep and paint and rebuild. Few pics bellow. ☺

Then got crackling with the strip and started with the filler.Nothing major only a few slight ripples.

Which then found its way into primer and fully masked up one Friday evening ready for paint

I had some lunar grey paint left over from a job I did so did the wheels, door bullets, mirrors and handles.

Ive also fitted full LED interior, sidelight and fog bulbs, Next on the list is a 250 turbo and supporting mods then try and find a mint full leather R26 interior.

Cheers

Hi big Steve. I personally cant take on a full resto for at least 6-9 month but if you are serious about having it done up here and want a 100% flawless job a mate of mine runs his own independent body shop with some serious skill level. Its a Family business father and 2 sons. They do everything from fitting body kits to high end vehicles to restorations. I used to work with them at my previous workplace.

I can give you a contact number if you like?
