Roads here are generally shit.

For a pre-2001 car it's £215 per year car tax if >1549cc, or £130 up to 1549cc

After 2001 there's loads of bands based on CO2 emissions with the lowest being £zero but I think it goes up to like £500 a year for the highest emissions.

Petrol at the moment is about £1.35 per litre

Insurance is nuts here too but from what I've seen mentioned it's still better than Ireland.

118.75 for 6months up to 1.6
