leather seats renault r19

Hello all!

Sorry for my horrible English, W google traslate

a question

the leather seats of R19 16V "are equal to those of the more common" Clio 16v "?

I can not find the original ... too few in circulation :(

Thanks

I fitted front seats from a 1992 (ph2) R19 Cabriolet to my 1996 1.2 CLIO, the bolt holes did not line up as a result i had to do some welding, thats just my experience

was that the 19 subframes that didn't line up with the holes in the clio floor Larry?

Or do you mean the clio subframes could not be mounted to the 19 seats?

the 19 subframe didnt line up with the clio holes neal, i was originally under the impression they were a direct swap but i was wrong so welding was required then

as did i baz, i found out they were not when i went to do the switch, however lots of folk seem to beliee they are the same so i can only conclude some models are, in my case the seats from my cabby were not a straight swap

i think you are correct neal, i may have misunderstood when i was told the whole thing was direct swap but to be honest the welding process only took a short time

I can not change the machine
In Italy there are many taxes.

Would reduce costs (insurance and ownership tax called "bollo auto") for you must subscribe to the club "ASI" but claim that the car is completely original

i dont think altering the seats would nead to be declared as the car being unoriginal to be honest. They are still car seats be they welded or bolt straight in there should be no need to declare this to the insurance company

True .. but in Italy they are mad!

If the car is registered as a "historic and collector cars" pay:
€ 30 / year ownership tax
€ 250 / year Insurance

If it is not registered as historic:
car tax - 302 € / year
Insurance, for a young guy, 1,200 € / year .... or worse!

In addition, gasoline now costs € 1.80 / liter

that is crazy, here i will pay 1,200-1,500 for a 1200cc car, 86 euro for every 3 months of tax and about 1.57 per litre of petrol but if done correctly i dont think a seat change should even be noticible

thats no problem i think prices here and in england are very close anyway, i have no idea of the price of motor tax there though it must be better than here and i am certain (from experience) that the roads are much nicer to drive on

Roads here are generally shit.

For a pre-2001 car it's £215 per year car tax if >1549cc, or £130 up to 1549cc

After 2001 there's loads of bands based on CO2 emissions with the lowest being £zero but I think it goes up to like £500 a year for the highest emissions.

Petrol at the moment is about £1.35 per litre

Insurance is nuts here too but from what I've seen mentioned it's still better than Ireland.
