Thanks for your replies chaps :approve: , I'm booking the places for food next Thursday to date we have 19.5 for lunch and 10 for later on, I've had to remove all the :approve: because computer says no :ihatpcs:

Just a 1 day drive... But some people usually stop over in Lancaster the night before or after. It's well worth the journey Joe. Simon comes down from Aberdeen!! :bow:

I asked yesterday, when he posted up on cliosport.net if he was bringing his new vee, but he replied saying he was still bringing the sunflower. I'll tag him in a post and get him to confirm himself.

I've booked our tables for lunch at the Sportsmans just off the A66 as usual for 1PM

For the evening meal unfortunately the Wateredge at Ambleside aren't taking any bookings for that weekend :rollseyes: as it's a "Boat race" weekend or something and they are expecting it to be very busy.

However after consulting with Colin I have managed to get us in at the Regent which is just across the road - it's a bit more expensive but it's right next to the car park which is good

All we need now is a decent day weather wise, which usually isn't a problem in the Lake District :rofl:

Have you tried Low Wood which is the sister hotel to the wateredge? I can also get 10% discount off either hotel
