I think that the Daughter has opted for the navigators seat this time so will be in for a veritable handbagging :rofl:phillv6":36xhkhu0 said:rustedandrotten":36xhkhu0 said::approve: from mephillv6":36xhkhu0 said:ColinG":36xhkhu0 said:Phill, what we thinking for the evening meal? Greaves park is always nice. Or there is plenty of other nice pub/restaurants in or around the area that have good parking.
I love the evening meal and beer, always the highlight!
I was thinking maybe nearer the Lakes for a change, I know a place near Ambleside right by Lake Windermere that would suit and there's plenty of places to stay over too, are you OK with that Colin ?
Nice one Simon :approve: I assume you will be bringing the Mrs ?

Just a 1 day drive... But some people usually stop over in Lancaster the night before or after. It's well worth the journey Joe. Simon comes down from Aberdeen!!

Joe I can't think of a better way to start off Vee ownership than attending this event, the sight of all those Vee's together in the stunning scenery is awesome [smilie=yay.gif]

I'm in Derby, so near as damn it 200 miles 1 way….but would be epic. Anyone have a postcode and start time? I have some family in Warrington so that'll save me 80ish miles I guess...

Joe here's the details - just like last year the meeting place confirmed as Ings on the A591, postcode LA8 9PY, turn left just at the entrance to the petrol station
11 O'clock start should allow enough time for those who have a fair distance to travel :race:
Get yourself there you know it makes sense200 miles is nothing really, over the years we have had folk travel a lot further than that :salut: and Simon's travelling from Aberdeen again  - I think he may have secured a deal to buy Petrol at "trade" prices from a local refinery
Mini... should be done under the trades description act, these bl00dy kraut interlopers are the size of a small supertanker, or at least as big as an old Frod Grandad and bigger than the old Maxi!! Great to have along as the road opening dodgem though :approve:roystinho":33jtp1bw said:If minis are allowed to tag on the back I'm free at the minute that day
