Hi all,

Just got my first renault and going to track the work that I am doing to this along the way as it is older and has all of the original parts on it as it is low milage even though it is 16 years old.

The wipers were even the original ones lol

So far, I have changed the wipers, replaced the reverse selector switch to get the reverse lights and parking sensors working and replaced the passengers window mechanism as it broke just just after I bought the car. Also I added an aux cable to the existing readio.

Still trying to get the aircon working but that is an ongoing process, when I have some more cash.

Future plans are to add in a better audio system and then just fix the little bits of paintwork and such.

Anyway, will be tracking the progress on here as it seems there are not many of these left.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of their dashboard cover lifting towards the windscreen?

Mine has come out of the slot it is contained in on the passenger's side and I was wondering if there is a way to get it back in, using heat or weight?

@Moggy is this anything you have heard about?

Thanks for the reply, I have had a look and can't find a replacement, so will just try my best at some point to see if I can get it better than it is
