Ktec Top mounts

When having Ktec Top mounts, which parts are no longer required from the standard set up?

Very confused...

As far as I can tell, I only need the bottom disc (sits on top of spring) and the rest is the Ktec Top Mount? Or have I got this all wrong..

Thanks for that James. I was trying to navigate my way through some previous posts but struggling to get a solid concensus. I am an enthusiastic driver but I wouldn't sacrifice ride quality for an occasional track use so I think I might stick with the standard rubber mounts.

I fitted Pure Motor sport top mounts to my Clio it made no differance to the ride comfort it gave the car a more planted feel and the steering precision was amazing.

I'm replacing the springs of my KWs with Scott soon and he recommended me to fit these top mounts as well while doing the job. He said it will improve the handling of the car and that he has fitted them to at least three other Clios.

Any feedback?

Are KW in the UK repairing your Coils. They are a nightmare to get hold of and get commitment from! Need all 4 of mine rebuilt this winter!

Yeah the springs are very rusty and I'll replace them with new ones:

I don't know what I'll do with the rusty ones but I may get in touch with KW or other specialist to get them refurbished at some point.
