Megane Knock when going slow + turning

Example: pull up to the house and line up to reverse onto the drive, steering input while slowly reversing and occasionally I get a single knock.

Only ever happens at very slow speed when applying steering input, forward or reverse.
Doesn't seem to matter if I'm going left or right, but I recall it mainly being on left hand down. It seems to be when I 1st start the turn, it's not a full lock knock...lol.

Just wondering if it might be a top mount? Not long gone through an MOT + Service so not sure what it might be. MOT picked up play in the rack, but that was sorted with a new rack bush.
Have read about subfame bolt issues?

Any ideas of what it may be and what to check?

Check clamp bolt on bottom of column by your feet. These can come loose.

Ive had a couple of cars do this to be honest im sure its wear in the steering rack.

Try the steering rack end bush (NS) or the bush coupling at the column.

Cool cheers guys... the bush has been replaced with a track focus direct one.

Any idea if I can get at the bolts on the subframe without removig the subframe?

I think you can. You can get to the main rack bolts that's for sure. Might be worth checking they are tweeked up
