I have finally been able to spend some time on my kangoo 4x4 1.6 16V which initially looked like a snapped timing belt, after removing the head the cause was now clear and it was a idler pully bearing failure. The end result of course is the same which is a top end rebuild and all 16 valves replaced. I was a tech for Renault for a number of years so the job is straight forward enough, quite enjoying the job to be honest
