Kangoo fuel pump,

As its such a wet day and garage being occupied by a stripped 19 and an ax gt, can't really get on with as much as i planned. so decided to pull the rubber matts out of the load area on kangoo, well they could do with a wash!
All in a vain attempt to hunt out the tank sender so could work out what to do with the fuel pump.
Anyway looks to me that the Kangoo has an elecy pump, so now the question is, is it man enough to pump petrol instead of diesel at a pressure high enough for a F7p??

i could but as there is a pump there seems a shame to chop the pipes to get the job done. that and the screw in pump and sender looks identical to that from the clio donor, even down to colour coding on wires and plug. theres not much space between the floor and the tank so really dont fancy losing the pipes and having to drop the tank!

oh the only difference seems to be a third pipe, which is present on the clio but blanked on the kangoo, no idea where it goes though!

if its a clio 16V there are 2 pumps as theres an aux fuel tank.

the diesel pump isn't man enough to do the job, you need a decent efi pump.

so just unscrew the in tank pump from the clio and drop it into the kangoo. hope i dont lose the pipes! progress is slow but sure will get there in the end!
