Just re-joined and I need....

Here is the working link? LINK

When the add mentions all works carried out by Steve at SG Motorsport, does this mean the car was one Steve Murr (AcidV6) sold?

The BG ( ive only ever sold one ) was HK05 OLA

I doubt this is it as its 2004 .......

Not sure who steve at SG motorsport - maybe he was guessing @ the SG being steve garratt ;)

Don't know the car myself, but it has Ph1 side pods and rear bumper. Possible it's had some accident damage at some point?

How can you tell that is a ph1 rear bumper?

When you check out the two bumpers up close side by side, you will notice that they have a different profile.

The grilles on a ph2 bumper are quite flat, as is the blank section between the two exhaust pipes. Leaving a short return lip on the bottom on the bumper (marked in red in this pic)

Ph2:

The ph1 bumper has a greater angled section between the two exhaust pipes, and a bigger return lip on the bottom of the bumper.

It is quite hard to spot in photos, but really obvious when you see the two parked next to each other.

haha, this might make it a little clear Frank:

The phase one has has a much larger 'ledge' on the bottom!

to buy a V6 again....... does anyone know this car ?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 04/3095293

I've had three V6's previously and not realise I shouldn't have sold them !

Any advice re cars for sale welcome

Thanks

Steve

Quite a familiar tale Steve, out of interest what did you replace your Vee's with ?

I've got a few cars at the moment - Lancia Integrale EVO 2 ( Giallo Ginestra - yellow taken up to 300bhp) - an Abarth Fiat 595 - a Ferrari 328 GTS in black ( currently for sale at "Foskers" as I've managed 70 miles in it this year ! ) a 911T ( pre-impact) a 911 3.2 Carrera (G50) - a Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi ( sold last week ) a 1968 VW Type 3 Squareback - a 1960 Porsche 356B ( just being fully restored ) and a new 981 Porsche Boxster ( as well as a few others in between !)
Apologies for going on a bit - but you did ask !

Ready for another V6 though if anyone knows of a good one for sale

Wow, what a cool collection of cars!!

With regards to your original question, the good ones seem to be changing hands privately these days with many cars not actually reaching pistonheads etc. I guess keep your eyes peeled on here!

Superb collection of cars, and the right mix too. :approve:

Indeed a Clio V6 will round it off perfectly.

Good luck with the search.
