Juddering steering when stood still and turnign the wheel

big peaches

New Member
When i try to do 5 point turns, turing the wheel lock to lock, i get a judder from the steering wheel.... is this common ?. . . i recenty had it in the garage and they said my assy steering was l,eaking from a pipe they had repaired.

any ideas ?

air in the system caused by low oil level.

the juddering is caused by the systems pressure fluctuating because of receiving air followed by oil.

Have a look at your power steering level mate.

Cheers this would make sense, as the gargea said they toppedit up as it was low, am guessing there is still a leak and it will be low!
