Janspeed fitting

Going to try and fit this over the weekend,

and just have a couple of questions.

It's come with two 48mm u-clamps but am I better off getting some 'clam-clamps' as per clamp ?

Is it a good idea to replace the original rubber mounts (e.g. with mount) or will they be alright?

I might be wrong but do you need different downpipes and collector box for the janspeed system too as the backbox won't bolt straight onto normal collector?

I do have two link pipes if that's what you mean?

Can just about see one behind the backbox in the pic

I bought original clamps from Renault which were £8 each and 4 of the blue rally design mounts that you've shown!

It's all you need and will go on no problems :approve:

I must admit I'm not a fan of them either so I had straight ones put on mine

To be honest I don't think there is a set price!

When I first enquired I was told £525 + delivery but after some gentle persuasion I got it for £389 including delivery which I was more than happy with to get the custom tail pipes

I had it 2 weeks after placing the order

Although I stupidly only ordered two of the mounts, doh!

Changing the tips is something to bear in mind...

Mine was £330 from DCPerformance, but just checked and it's gone up to £354! Seems to have come direct from Janspeed mind.

It turns out you dont need the clamps for a Janspeed just the rubbers!

should fit straight on gregg, i' advise removing the bumper etc, will mate it a lot easier to access etc. i fitted my side pods this afternoon and did a couple of other little jobs on the vee
