Is this a V6 Trophy?

So, I was looking for some info on cars, as one does, and came across this photograph of a rather outrageous kit car, but my attention was immediately drawn to the Vee-shaped object in the background.

No, not a genuine one, but an interesting build nonetheless. It started life as a 172, but now has a Subaru engine and running gear as well as the v6 style body kit.
