insurance nightmare!

does anybody have any suggestions about people who may quote me a decent price for a mk2 V6?

Im 24 and have 1 year no claims (will be 2 in may). One company said they wouldnt insure drivers under 25 on cars worth over £15k- discrimination if you ask me on people who work hard enough to be able to afford a more expensive car! (only joking!)

so if anybody has any suggestions or in a similar situation would be good to hear from you!

Im 26 and with elephant im paying 600ish, I first insured my V6 when i was 24 3 months before my 25th birthday. had trouble getting inusrance because i was under 25. I ended up going through virgin car insurance and ended up paying 1600 quid if i remember.

You can get a "Future Classic Policy", well that's what i found out when i brought mine anyway, mine's a Mk 1 but should be the same for a Mk2.

Some guy phoned me about buying mine yesterday. Said he was 21 and had just got a quote for £930 fully comp!

I congratulated him, as I'm 34 and am paying a good £150 more than that!

i was paying just over £900 when i had my v6 - 23 y/o 0 ncb with admiral, now paying £1500 on an e46 M3 with 1 year ncb

definately shop around

elephant are bullshitting - they quoted me a few hundred quid more than admiral (who im insured with) on my M3 (worth £25k) elephant are part of admiral, or the other way around

Being under 25 with a vee is expensive 1st year i was paying £1250! now with elephant and paying £600

A Future Classic Policy can be had on a Clio V6 due to the limited numbers that were produced.

I had a quote from "Classic Line " for £800.

You can also get the policy for a Focus RS!!
