Inherited idle problem and poor performance

Replacement engine is in and running badly.
Exactly the same problem that i had with the old engine before it died completely.

The video is the car at idle, not touching or doing anything to it. It idles eraticly then revs up a little, going round this cycle again and again.

Have unplugged every sensor one by one and it does not go away.
Along with this, there is a lack of performance (power almost fades out around 3000rpm and accelerates slowly) yet the car revs up very quickly when theres no load. The engine was running perfectly in its previous car, so it has to be something i have kept from the old setup. This is, ECU, fuel pump, throttle body, ICV, CTS, TDC sensor and the loom.

I'm almost thinking faulty ECU at this point, or maybe something to do with fuel pump??

What you all think?

Not sure how much more patience i have with this damn car :x

Havn't touched tps, still has yellow tamper paint on it. I can unplug the TPS and it still does the same, just at higher revs.

hum... i'd check for a leaky vacuum hose or something except you've replaced the engine which eliminates a lot like you say

sometimes when you fiddle with things the loom can break inside due to age.

crank angle sensor on properly with good connections?

Is on with good connections, but i'm definately not counting it out. Does almost seem like timing drifting in and out.
