Immobiliser problems?????

Having problems getting my 16 valve to start. Thought it might have been the battery, but charged it overnight and still the same result! The battery is only 2 or 3 years old anyway, so didn't think there would be a problem with it. Tried all the usual things,(plugs, dizzy cap, flywheel sensor, etc) but to no avail:cry:
It's as if the immobiliser is jammed on, but i've switched it on and off to check, and its just the same. Engine keeps turning over but will not fire up!!!
Anybody ever had any problems with the immobiliser staying on? Or has anyone had similar problems to mine? Any help would be very much appreciated:D

Cheers, Kev.

it may not be the immob at all, could be the cts playing up or the ignition modules d#ied, check for a spark, if theres spark tyhe crank sensors and ignition modules good that meamns fuel, so unplug the cts and try again.

Got ma wheels back................

Managed to get her going again at the weekend with a little help from the old tow and bump start technique!!! Got my mechanically gifted bro in-law to have a wee look at it, and he came to the conclusion that it was nothing to do with the immobiliser. More likely the flywheel sensor been worn or the idle control valve was maybe sticking a bit. I've managed to source them through a website, so i've ordered the parts up and will get them fitted as soon as!!!:D
She's been starting first time so far, but she has struggled sometimes in the past, and has been idling rather fast at times, so i suppose it's better to renew them anyway. Peace of mind!!!!;)

Cheerz, Kev
