Immobiliser delete

Megane 1 F7R 2.0 16v
Has anyone any knowledge of how to do this. I had 1 done on a 1996 ecu a while back for a cost of about £125.
Am reluctant to pay this again as I only need it to fire up the engine for about an hour to do some checks before my DTA is put on.
I would be able to carry out the work if only I new how!!!
The ecu I have is a later version which is much smaller than the 1996 one so not sure how much the layout will differ.
Any info would be great as want to get my 19 back on the road this year!?!.

I seem to remember (could be wrong) but you could obtain an in-code from Renault. You get the 4 digit code for example 1234 from Renault, then you press and hold the central locking button and count the dashboard led flashes, eg. press/hold button count 1 flash, press/hold count 2 flashes etc.
Then it would release the immobiliser and the car would start.
Might be a guide on obtaining code and how to do it somewher.
