Would you believe it.....????!!!! 
My brother-in-laws companies use a local insurance broker in the town where I work and I called them this morning on the off-chance that they could do something on the Vee, because TBH, I had completely drawn a blank trying to get some replacement insurance after the AF saga and was beginning to think I'd have to sell my Vee (Shhhhh....... :shock: ) rather than pay the stupid policy prices they were quoting. :roll: :shock:
They have come back to me with £675, which is only £19 quid more expensive than AF......and they're in the same town as me...!!!! That means, I can call into the place, speak to real people, get real answers and not be given the run-around if and when a problem arises with my car or policy..... :wink: and more importantly, I will probably receive a real insurance policy, instead of 12 months-worth of cover notes...
I am feeling all nice and fluffy again now, as from tonight the Vee can be driven again - it broke my heart every morning looking out at it parked up.... :cry:
Anyway, thanks to you all guys for your PM's with suggestions of companies to call - it was much appreciated...!!!
