I dont know if I have mentioned it ( well I might have done once or twice ) but my Megane R26 was in issue 195 of Evo. The guys were short of a r26 ( Renault didnt have a press car ! ? ) so tweeted that they needed one. Few emails later and I was heading over to Wales for a 3 day photo marathon and driving experience.

We did the Evo triangle and several other roads. Jetro took my car out for a re familiarisation run , and said he would take it steady. I mentioned that I would rather he didnt. Give it death. I built it for going , not showing. He unduly obliged and the hills were soon reverberating to the sound of my Meg with its 3 inch exhaust !

Dicky Meaden also had a quick go in it , and his photos were used of the meg on two wheels.

The photographer Dean Smith is a photographic genius. The skill this guy has is incredible. I took a few of my own photos and these are them below. Not amazing at all but part of a great experience.

I was approached to do the vx220 knowledge article which was fun. Only 2 pages so they could not put all the waffle they got in or more on the tfsi converted ones I did ;)
