The Trophy coils involve more work as they have different connections and 2 bolt fixing. Drilling and thread tapping is needed.

Thanks James , do you happen to know when fitted to a road car if they ever fail ?
How much are they ? a set has just sold on Ebay for £285 from Ktec ...

Never heard of anyone failing in a road car in all these years. Must be good. Used to be £400 fitted I believe.

Forgot to mention when you fit the new coil, your emissions light will still be on for a while (20 mile or so)

Thank you looch - i just did this fix and was concerned the emissions light was still on - engine sounding fantastic and duff coil replaced...
So if there was ever an excuse for a nice drive out of town 'say 20 mile or so' now is the time...
