Honorary Members

HI James

Inevitably a few owners will sell up and move on from Vee ownership.
Most of these guys will undoubtedly remain members, but some will sadly let their membership expire.

Might we consider an Honorary Membership for those who've contributed whole-heartedly on technical projects and discussions?
(Almost like an award for "services to the V6" - perhaps for 5 years?)

Hi Kett,

Your idea is something I talked about a while ago, the automatic implementation to put people into an Honorary Members group involved a huge amount of coding, so sadly this was put on the things to do list.

It's very easy for me on a daily basis to recognise and praise the club staff for their efforts, but I must admit I am guilty of overlooking the technical sections and the vast contributions some members make.

As it's such a fair idea, I would suggest that members nominate who they feel deserves this accolade.

Honorary members are in light blue for 3 years, and have free membership for that time be they current owners or have sold up.

As there have been no requests to honour anyone for the past 2 years now. This will now end, and the few on this scheme will return to normal loyal club member status.

Yes, time for a little bit of club housekeeping.
My expectation was that they might have participated in a similar manner to K1ano.

I think the recent incremental shifts in Vee values will realistically steer former owners away from the marque...

Housekeeping continues and the to-do list is gradually going down.

I think you're right Kett. There was a surge in membership which was only until a recent purchase was sold. Pleased to say most members are renewing driving owners and not investment hoarders.
