I put a thread up in the WANTED section with out much luck.

Regarding a spacer ring on a oil filler cap MK2

Would someone be a star and remove there oil filler cap. I would like a picture of the cap and the plastic spacer washer that sits on in it, and even better some dimensions of the spacer.

I want to take the photo and dimensions to the Renault Parts desk as they don't have any part number of info on the computer system :ihatpcs:

I know its a pain but would appreciate this.

Does the part simply come with a new cap? £17 ish

I asked the parts department that James and they had know idea.

Suppose I could just bight the bullet and order one but I not convinced it will be with the new cap.
