Hi All

Just introducing myself as I step up the search for my first Vee.

I've had a thing for the Vee ever since they first came out - I was about 14 at the time and promised myself I would someday own one. I first joined this forum and came close to buying a Ph2 about 5 years ago but at the time had to choose between getting a Vee or getting a mortgage and went with the latter...

I'm now very much back in the hunt for my first Vee - which for me has to be a Ph2 in Iliad blue.

Looks like you've been lurking for a long time... I'm sure your diligence will pay off.
There are a few genuinely nice Vees listed on here at the moment.
Obviously, values have hardened since you first began the hunt - but don't let that put you off... they are only going one way.

GlowRed's car reads very well but I'm probably after something closer to a stock example. Partly because I may want to enjoy doing some of my own upgrades over time but also because I think £20k is about my limit for what will be a weekend toy!

I live in Northern Ireland and JonnyC's Vee ticks basically all my boxes and would be a very convenient option logistically. I have been in touch with Jonny about it over the last number of weeks but I gather I am now too late and it has been sold.

So I suppose I should clarify my wishlist to include Ph2, Iliad blue, mostly stock, around £20k.
