Headlight adjuster

Guest

Hey guys, right after my accident, the drivers headlight was smashed along with the adjuster, is it possible to fit a new ball joint+spring onto the end or will i have to go to renault and buy a whole new adjuster cable? havent a clue how im going to replace something like this. Got MOT next month and need this done more than anything else at the mo.suggestions?
cheers in advance peeps.
Tom

Mate ive neva had a clio that the adjusters actually work!

Just put a new headlight in, put the setting on 0 for the other side and get them both set up to the same height

lol ok seems easy enough.dont they have to be fully adjustable at all times to pass mot?
well if thats the case fook it. mechanics at the garage will let me off a few things no doubt, its good to know ppl in the business. cheers dan

No they dont need to be adjustable, as long as they are all correctly set up on the headlamp adjuster they will pass! :)

As above never known them to work, mine are hopeless they look fine but dont work for shit.

i thought they were full of liquid anyway as when i fitted my morette lights i had to cut it off and liquid pissed out

My passenger side one works! My drivers side doesn't have an ajuster though.
