Hi guys I love my clio but I would like to change the wheels .I like the split rim deep dish on the renault turbo.
with the offset can it be done [smilie=thanks.gif]
Hi bud I spoke to Scott at sg motor sport lovely guy I always take my car there . He told me to give image wheels a call which I did .They were very helpful and sent me a drawing of what I need to measure .I know it will not be cheap but I think they will be in keeping .I just did not know if any one had gone down this route .its cheaper than a turbo 2 she should be pleased :ihatpcs:
Thanks Phil if you get a chance have a look they are called rm2's cast 3 piece wheels . I think it should look good if I can get the rim deep enough. mix a bit of old and new style :salut:
Forget it. Its impossible to have deep dishes on the car especially if you are thinking along the same lines as T2's. I looked into doing something with my split rims (O.Z Futura's) but the rears have very little offset. The outer dishes on mine are around 25mm and if I added any more they would be nudging the arches on full bump at the rear.
When you say RM2's are you refering to the 8 spoke Minilite type of wheel??? Pretty sure Martin runs them on his Maxi but that is an 80's grp B esque car where they are kind of in keeping with the car.
To be fair, you can call that car all you want but when I first see it at FCS many vee owners gave it the thumbs up and even wanted to know where he got his front splitter from. It was pretty perfectly executed for a rep. Its just a shame its had countless ammounts of shit added to it.
