GTT electrical problem

So another freaking problem... Theres a short circuit somewhere.. central locking doesn't work and fuel pump doesn't start. I bypassed fuel pump and it's priming but the car doesn't start. When i turn the ignition key on window cleaning pump is turned on and it immediatly burns 15amp fuse showed in the picture. I had to put 30amp in just to identify whats that buzzing noise when ignition is on... but after a few seconds it burns even 30amp fuse... maybe there's an earth problem with somewhere? i've checked on the left side of the car (my driver side UK passenger side) where there are 2 earth cables and they are fine. What else could it be? Any idea what else is connected to that fuse on the pic that is shorting out everytime i turn the key on?

So you have a direct to earth short somewhere. Do NOT put higher rated fuses in you might start a fire. Do you have a multimeter and do you know what continuity testing is?
Also check the fuse box hasn't gotten wet.
Also unplug the wiper motor, does it still do it?

Ye somewhere cable is touching the metal. I know that but everytime i put ignition on i heard i buzzing noise and than fuse blew. Thats why i put higher amp fuse in just to find that buzzing noise. Fuse box is not wet since its parked in dry garage. No i dont know what that testing is :/ i did unpluged it. Noise stoped but still shorting and blowing fuse every time i put ignition on.

OK then so we know that your fault for the washer motor is after the fuse because if it wasn't you'd have a fire on your hands by now lol. Do your wipers wipe before the fuse blows? Or just the pump activating?
If you unplug the wiper stalk does it still do it?

I think the wiring goes
Ign Live > Fuse box > Stalk > Pump (and wipers) > Earth. You're somehow bridging the stalk switch, either the stalk is fooked or power is feeding in downstream. trace the wire through the car unplugging each block connector it passes and then test again, when you find one where it does if it's plugged in, and does not where it's not, you know the section of wiring thats causing the issue...which is a good start.

well i kinda stop fuse burning with removing rear window wiper button :O i'm guessing rear wiring is messed up.. moving on

another problem now is no bloody spark... have to sort that out.

all sorted mate :) sure wiring is fucked up and i have to remove the dash and go through all the wiring ... maybe even make entire new wiring from strach.. but that's a project for winter.

so i disconnected rear wiper button and fuse burning stoped. and about no spark.. it was just a dirty TDC sensor... removed it.. gave it a good clean installed it back and fired right up :)

case closed.. i'm happy camper again :)
