Hi! I have just joined what looks to be an excellent forum, you even have an app!
I have a long history with Renault, and have owned quite a lot of them, including 2 GT turbos, 2 GTE, Megane Trophy, Clio Williams, 172 and so on...
I’ve been stupid enough to sell them all, and are currently re-collecting what i can.
Currently I have 2 cars, both of them need some work before they are roadworthy.

A310 Is off the frame right now receiving rust treatment and a “new” evenfire engine with megasquirt based EFI.

Clio 16V is a German special edition called “Grand Prix” limited to 500 pcs.
It needs some work also.

I hope soon to buy a R5 GT turbo, so I can join some trackdays and hillclimb in 2018 :) I might start a sort of thread when I have it.

Looking forward to gain a lot of knowledge from here :)

Thanks!

I already have a A310 build thread on a local forum, so I don't think I will be doing another one :-) Progress is slow..
When I bought the Clio the plan was only to change a few mechanical bits and put it on the road, It wasn't that easy. So while I'm looking for my five, I can use the time to make this one road going.

Thanks Allan
I believe it was a marketing trick. Only difference I can see is stickers on the rear arches and a numbered plate in the same location as the Williams. They did the same thing on Megane 225 Trophy, called it “Auto Sport edition” also limited to 50pcs i think it was.

@andybond, it’s all Danish I’m afraid I can pass a link to who’s interested?

Always good to see another Alpine owner, we are pretty thin on the ground here. Like you I've owner most of the fast Renaults over the years, wouldn't mind a track focused MK1 Clio :0)
