Speeds are getting insane now. I would personally much prefer a pdk in that scenario. Two hands on the wheel while changing gear mid corner is a huge benefit.

Agree with you Brett, but clearly he wasn't going for it, as he would have done when racing, so would have liked to have seen how such an accomplished driver would have handled it in the same car with a manual box.

Yeah, that too.....but even modern manual boxes do the auto blipping.
