Good garage v bad garage

right guys and gals,

I'm currently in the market for a vee and going to look at one this coming saturday, the car is a 51 ph1 with 33k on the clock, and I envisage, after reading a few posts on here to expect engine/box problems somewhere along the way. With this in mind I thought it be a good idea to start a thread to list garages where people have had good experiences etc... I'm sure we're all too familiar with those garages who we would never visit a 2nd time (but we should not name for reasons of legallity) and thought if we can compile a list of the good guys. Maybe, not only are we likely to save expensive visits to ill educated individuals working on our pride and joys, but we may also be able to benefit from discounts if we quote this website type thingy.

Mods, apologies if this type of thread is not favoured, but I feel I've attempted to protect the names of those garages we would rather avoid.

Unfortunately I cannot start the thread as I don't own one (YET), but would welcome your comments/garage names.

PS. I'm sure there are a few renault dealers/garages on here, so if you've had a godd experience and want to mention the garage, please indicate what work was done and why you felt they deserve to be added to this thread.

Think we already have a review/rating system for garages and work carried out for members to view mate.

Duly added to my favourites, maybe I should search prior to typing for what feels like hours and hours lol
