Hello all

Getting my Vee remapped tomorrow, will report back on what the beef is

:P

I didn't want to get it done by one of the mobile boys as these guys will do it on a rolling road

Ok so got my remap done today and these are my observations

1st and 2nd gear improved throttle response, noticable but not really any other difference

3rd gear, much improved throttle response and improved top end power and torque, not a great deal but you can feel it

4th, 5th improvement in mid range torque from 4000 revs, quite noticable all the way up tp 7100 revs, the car really pulls, so much so I found myself changing up earlier and on occasion running out of road.

6th, didn't really get a chance to use it

Overall quite a nice experience, don't get me wrong, it's not like the experience you get when remapping a turbocharged car, but you can feel the difference, its a more progressive delivery of power, sharper and smoother, I know that sounds contradictory, but thats my feelings

Superchips Buckingham (I think its the HQ) were really helpful and had a smart setup

Not sure as I was running late for the Gym so they are sending me the Dynos tomorrow, it did take them 1.5 hrs to do it

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know, hmmmm what was it and can I get it retrospectivly?

Yup actually mine was on 248 and is now on 260. I will be going up to WRC in Silverstone to get it on their rolling road next week to check and will them look at the next mod and report back

IMO all cars are below 255 from the factory. Usually 24X. About 10BHP down as standard. You then have to factor in the RR innacuracies again which vary by about another 10BHP.

The ONLY way to compare cars is back to back tests. At the same time, same day, on the same RR. Sad but true.

I would say an engine dyno would be the only place you would get 255 hp with controlled operating conditions on a blueprint engine.
