Gearbox humns

my gearbox humn like reverse gear in all 4ward gears its a louder noise aswell. any 1 any ideas ?

Bearings maybe? I would probably check the oil first though

If the bearing have gone does that mean new 1 ?

usually best option is a new gearbox. But I would check the oil first. And it's better to replace all the bearings as they will need to be pressed in iirc

New gearbox time

mine whines really badly in 4th and 5th, and has done since FCS, not really been gentle with it since and its fine. wait till it blows up, and in the mean time source another gearbox!

topped up the oil, sounds fine, but theres a leak, gna have a proper look 2moz but fink its cuming from the gear leakinge connection
