Hey guys me again. Right I've got my 172 box which still has the circlip whilst it's out I want to fit a jc5 retainer.

So I've rang Renault and they can't just look on there system at a jc5 to get me the price I need a reg what models were the jc5s fitted to and could and if anyone has a reg that would be cool.

Fuckin useless..

You need the reg of a williams if you need a JC5 willy box part or you need the reg of a 172 if you need parts from that.

by JC5 retainer i guess you mean bolt in circlip mod..so i think you need the 182 reg as there the only factory models to have it fitted as standard iirc..

to convert the circlip to bolt in diff doesnt the diff have to come out by splitting the box and modifiying the diff itself?

Yeh the diff housing req drilling + tapping

aaaaarrrrggghhhh been into renault 2day and were very helpful although we couldnt find the retainer still shows a circlip on the diologys???
