Complete EFI conversion for a Renault 5 GT Turbo
This is a complete electronic fuel injection conversion that I developed for my own GT Turbo. Other projects are taking priority so I have decided to sell it, so it now it is looking for a new owner!
It uses OEM spec parts wherever possible and everything else is custom made to specifically suit my Renault 5.

Modified R5 GT Turbo inlet manifold with injector bosses, fuel rail and throttle body mounting, and air temperature sensor. (It keeps the servo vacuum connection.)

Note.
As you can see in the photos, the wiring loom is not currently labelled, but I will do this before it is delivered to the buyer.
I will leave the map in the ECU, but it is your responsibility to ensure that it is correct for your car, no warranty!

JENVEY throttle body and TPS with custom linkage
Fuelling
- Billet aluminium fuel rail
- custom made with extensions to fit round throttle body - AN6 fuel connections
- OEM type Bosch fuel pressure regulator in custom housing
- Bosch EV3 fuel injectors
- Megasquirt 2 ECU
- TechEdge OEM-6 wideband lambda controller integrated inside the Megasquirt case
- Hall effect crank sensor and custom bracket. This a DIYAUTOTUNE part that I purchased from the states which is designed specifically for crank sensor use
- 32-2 crank trigger wheel with bespoke central hub. This bolts straight on in place of the washer on the crank pulley
- Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband lambda sensor
- Wasted spark coil pack. VW/Audi type 5 wire unit
- Custom HT leads
- Coil pack mounting bracket that replaces the water jacket end plate on the cylinder head, complete with coolant temperature sensor (cylinder head not included in sale)
- Distributor blank. This is a machined out and blanked GT Turbo distributor retaining the oil pump drive.
- Flywheel crank sensor cover, to replace Renault sensor
- Bespoke wiring loom designed for the ECU fuses and master relay to be fitted in the glovebox
Automotive spec connectors used throughout the engine bay, shielded cable used on the crank sensor, connector for fan control, N75 type boost control, shift lights, fuel pump relay connection, etc, etc.
