Megane Fuel sender

Hi all I've got a r26 and I am having problems with fuel sender/ pump having to disconnect and reconnect every time to get the car started thinking of getting it mapped in a few weeks is there a upgraded fuel sender/ pump I should get or will a standard one be good enough

I would check the condition of the pin terminals on both the tank unit & loom connector as they can have a high resistance due to poor contacts

That would make sense as I have to disconnect and reconnect to get it started would that mean I have to replace the terminals should I do the fuel sender at the same time it's a 07 plate

If the tank unit terminals show signs of damage then yes, there is also a repair kit for the loom section.
