Anybody know where the fuel pump relay is situated on the car?
checked the haynes diagrams but no information on where to find the damn thing.

Its located under the ecu cover. There are 2 relays under the cover it should be the one nearest to the inner wing.

Ok guys an update,
Thanks lewis we found the little bugger, who would have thought there was room to fit 2 relays in there! Anyway we tested the relay all seems fine, but still not power to the fuel pump, does anyone know exactly where the Brown wire goes once it leaves the ECU housing?

Infinity

lol

There's 4 wires under there...2 are to trigger the relay, 2 are the wires 'joined' when the relay activates. Check you get power to both when you should.

Thanks guys, I have been speaking with Lee over messenger and he walked me through some techniques to determain if it was the wiring or the pump itself...and low and behold I think its the pump. Will get a 12v on it later just to check, £101 from gsf :pballs:, anywhere cheaper?

First off make sure the pump aint fudged.

CAREFULLY give it a +ve feed from the battery to the +ve pump terminal.

Then check voltage and bridge the relay under the ECU cover.

Usually is, search the scrappy's for one with a matching part number on similar year cars. Otherwise, new, its pay the £ or shop on fleabay for a cossie one or something.3
