Anyone recommend an old skool garage, ideally Mildlands but will travel. Still suffering on my Turbo car , from engine hesitation around 3000rpm, push through and it will boost fine. I managed to source another carb , thinking one of the enrichment stages was at fault, but changed the whole carb and still exactly the same.
Common to both of the carbs which when fitted it also 'pops' on overrun, so maybe also common to the issue? Will start and idle fine, So far i have.
New fuel pump
New fuel regulator
New fuel filter
New plugs and leads, checked dizzy
Changed carb
Inspected vacuum hoses
Cleaned the manifold vacuum pipe/ jet
98 octane fuel
Suggestions welcomed... AEI renix advance?
