5 GT Turbo Front mount intercooler fitting

Right I have a front mount intercooler. I bought it with a job lot of bits that came off a R5.
Has anyone fitted one of these?


It's on b18ft. It's been years since I fitted a front mount? Is it a chop front cross member job it's already got brackets on that look like it may have been mounted around there or have people managed to squeeze in front of radiator /grill area? I need to work out pipe run and elbows I need etc

Hi bud,
check my little thread out, we fitted a FMIC on C1j not a B18ft though but cant be much different.

Cheers Scott. Looking really good that. Ouch on the cross member ! I see Redcar's finest fettled it for you. Is that an ebay universal pipe kit and clamps?

yeah @Brigsy has worked his magic lol.
no the kit was all seperate, i ordered hoses and joiners from ASH and the clamps from a local fasteners company.
I just worked out what i needed roughly and then ordered it.
