Front fog lights

BigfellaV6

Hi,
Recently had my V6 serviced & one of the issues were that my front fogs were not working. Garaged checked the wiring which seemed ok but kept blowing the bulbs. They mentioned that I'll probably need a new switch which operates the fogs.

Am I to assume that I would need to replace the stalk on the steering column that operates the lights & fogs, which no doubt has the switch built in?

Any help appreciated?

[smilie=icon_eek.gif] Really !
I can't imagine that a switch is the problem. It's fairly basic stuff for a garage to check the wiring including the switch.

The fogs are on a relay, IIRC, the switch talks to the UCH, the UCH triggers the relay, the relay activates the fogs. If its blowing bulbs then it must be getting too much voltage?
