Front end restoration

Hi

My car has done about 175000 miles and it feels like some bushes are quite worn.
I figure I'm going to buy these:
http://www.mespiecesauto.com/70-kit-barre-stabilisatrice-r21-turbo.html (obvisouly I need to measure first, do I need to remove the bush that's on or can I measure right behind it?)
and these:

I have cast wishbones on it now, will it be ok with pressed?

Also, I don't seem to be able to find new TRE's are they Renault only or simply unavailable?
I'm also considering getting the GAZ coilover/lowering kit for quadra. How is the ride with them, is it much harder than standard shocks/springs? I want the rear lowered about an inch, which I've read they'll do. I also don't want it to be hard lika a go-cart, maybe I'm better off with the lowering kit at the rear and new shocks up front?
After all this is done I will have tracking checked/fixed.

Is there anything else I should be getting to have it handle like new?

are the lower ball joints included with the wishbones? and top mount bearings while your doing that lot.

Track rod end are still available from Renault (7701464693 ?47.47 +Vat each) as I just collected a pair along with loads of other bits that seemed to be available again (due in next week)
I would also advise that the subframe bushes be checked as they can cause vauge handling and various noises, mainly knocking

I assume the lower ball joints are included as they show them on the pics, but I'll send a question before ordering.
Top mount bearings will be changed along with suspension items..

I noticed that the french site has a pack of subframe bushes as well, so I'll probably get those as well.

I think I saw somewhere that GAZ requires a set of front legs to rebuild for the coil-overs, is this correct?

I just read this: "Triangle de suspension et sa rotule". I don't claim to be fluent in french, but doesn't that mean that the lower ball-joint is included?

Thanks for the offer, are they completely worn out? Seems like a bad idea to send them working ones..

I haven't completely decided on what to do with the suspension. I don't think the front needs to be lowered really, just the rear, but if the handling improves and the ride comfort stays about the same I'm likely to go with the coilies..

Yes they are worn out. The actual strut bodies are in good condition and fine for Gaz to use. Let me know when you've decieded what to do.

Digging up this thread again.
I have the following on order:
Subframe bushes and bolt.
Gaz suspension kit
New top mount bearings
ARB bushes
New lower wishbones incl bushes and ball joint

The only thing I've been unable to source are the TRE's. The dealerships around here don't know when they will be able to deliver.
If they indeed are available in britain, would anyone point me to a dealer I can contact or even buy them for me and send over..

I will see what I can do for you tomorrow.

Thanks!

I've sent a mail to RR Autos to see if they will help me.

Edit: Just got a reply from RR Autos, they can supply the genuine items and they ship to sweden at a reasonable cost. With the current exchange rates it will even be cheaper from there than to order from the stealership over here, and they don't even know when they can deliver. :D

Thanks!

When everything arrives I can have a pretty much new front end, so after tracking the car should feel very nice to drive.

Thank you very much. However, I have just sent payment to RR Autos. His current price is ?54.10 inc vat each and I got postage for ?12.50.

All in all it is about ?30 cheaper than ordering from the dealership over here..
