French Car Show 2013

What a shame mate, totally understand your position though.

I thought 2009 was good, 2010 put me off as I remember the car being continually covered by dust by the nearby rally track (or whatever it was).

I've really hit a nerve with this thread.

Yeah.. had some great times at previous FCS's over the years. Maybe something just gets lost from when i just used to turn up in the morning and go home at the end of the day... to getting involved with the organisers as a club representative.

I dont see how it can be more than a day event. Whats the chill out all about! 9-1?? you just wanna go home surely??

Which year did we do the lap of honour for Dan - that was a good day (albeit sad).

As many have said it was good to meet people from here but the rest of it seemed one big chav fest and the dust of 2010 was horrendous!

Rofl at Mr Ed!!

"Ironic" shots of a Renault 4, cuts to a Nissan Skyline doing donuts around a novelty human shaped traffic cone.
Just about sums it up I think...

A chill out session? Come off it! Its trying to be like E38 and unfortunatly it will just never happen. At the end of the day, when we turn up at FCS, whether your in a vee, 106, saxo etc etc there is only so much you can take of looking at cars that bare little or no interest to you. It would be different if the standard of cars were amazing (such as E38 which I attend for a few days) but they aren't. The cars in the "show 'n' shine" are either utter shite, caught up in the Maxpower age or a bit of both. It basically shows the organisers haven't got the balls to kick the crap out and bring in nice machinery which I'm sure 99% of everyone above the age of 18 would like to see.

I dug up an old seed potato it fell off the fork, rolled into my house, landed on my laptop, and set about making that video.

gah... It's a big shame better V6 related shows don't use CC as a venue.

I think i'd rather dive into a pool of somebody else's vomit than attend FCS

Agree!!!

Kett has already driven through someone else's vomit....... Have you not seen the colour of his Vee ;)

True.

If you're into modifying cars a la Max Power, cherry bomb exhausts, bass boxes, heifers in two piece lycra, tracksuits, lambo doors, all whilst listening to happy hardcore interspersed with an ear rapingly annoying bint on the PA, then you'll absolutely love FCS.

FCS certainly wasn't my idea of fun but that's because there were very few things that piqued my interest and the bits that did were usually covered in Adrain Flux "babes".
