Description
2 litre (in reality 1949cc) Volvo N series engined Safrane auto.
I got this car late October 2009, it was then passed to my sister who has used it daily until now.
The current mileage is approx 115,000 miles
The only issue with the car is the steering rack sprung a leak 2 years ago so its had no power steering since then, theres a rack in the boot that was supposed to be fitted but due to me never getting that car for more than an hour or so max its not been done, same with the cambelt, a new belt is in the boot as well.
A 10 stone small female has driven the car with no power steering for 2 years fine so its not that heavy.
I would do the work but I have zero time, I mean my cars been off the road for nearly 6 weeks as until today I never had a chance to actually change the box on the thing.
The aircon doesn't work, it did but it no longer does, probably needs charged, don't know not checked it. I never charged it, the previous owner never charged it, its probably not been charged since new.
Last month I put 2 new front tyres on it
Toys that it has, electric front windows, full leather, climate control (but a/c portion isn't working), superb lazy auto box, electric sunroof, speed 2 (cruise control :lol: )
MOT and TAX is up at the end of October, current mileage around 115,000
This is a luxury barge, ideal for motorway slogging, it was used by the previous owner as an airport pickup vehicle for a remote hotel.
The reason for sale, its crap on fuel around town, really crap, on the motorway its 40mpg easy, for 2 mile trips to work/the shops its probably in the teens if that in traffic. Its too large to fit in a single garage in both width and length so its on the street. A smaller Laguna has replaced it. And since we live in the Blue end of Glasgow its amazing that being green its not been vandalised.
Current pics, none but when it gets dropped off here I will get some.
Anyway its taxed and tested ready to go, I just want rid, I have no space or time for it. So if its not sold in the next 2 weeks its getting weighed in.
£300 to any retro peep's
Last long trip it went on was to Derby and back last month, no issues at all.
