Description

OK just re-listing my car, Ive re shelled my original GT Turbo using a very nice solid body shell from a GTX.
It had a full respray on the shell in White and I had the wheels refurbed and powder coated.
Engine runs fine, we replaced the headgasket and bolts whilst the engine was out and had the gearbox stripped and a syncro sorted out. Engine is standard apart from a stage 2 turbo and scorpion exhaust. I sourced loads of bits inc replacement carb, standard airbox and intercooler to bring it back to original. Also new plugs, leads dizzy cap and rotor arm.
Registered as a GTX but ive had DVLA re-classify the tax so its on the lower GT turbo 1400cc tax rate. I have kept both the V5`s to prove where the car originated from etc.
11 Months MOT and 6 months tax.
I also sourced a completely standard interior as the original GT Turbo had leather seats, small tears in the seats as shown in pics which ill put on later.
Loads of receipts from CGB, but unfortunately not much from the original 5.
I must stress the body is excellent, fully undersealed not a spot of rust or rot.
I have just spent a fortune on this car (far more than I can ever make back).
Ill also chuck in a set of turbines with tyres and the car also has a 5 digit private plate on it valued by reg transfers at £600.
New ball joints, track rod ends, discs and pads on the front and new front springs.
Bad points:
Slightly smoky when re-starting warm, but the carb I got from CGB still needs tweeking.
Heater not working
£2000 for the lot.
