The garrett holds torque alot better. And also this is very tame as a workload on the garrett, where as that hybrid is flat out and running out of puff fast above 5000rpm
 
That was as far as 2017 went as in the December I had a cardiac arrest and woke up in hospital.... not bad for 32!

Numbers look fab especially for a standard engine. They're much stronger than a 225 lump. Are the 265 engines much different from the 250?

No, its identical.
 
In continuation of the car ownership, the van got sold last year, as the dog competitions have fizzled out of favour, and in october we went down south and picked up a liquid yellow 200, it's been a bit of a tidyup project

The car was fully standard aside from some H&R lowering springs. On 94k the mechanics are incredibly tight. It had a new clutch last year and the gearbox feels solid.

Since collecting it I've treat it to
Yellow stuff pads
Michelin ps4 225 45 17
20mm spacers
Ktec cat back exhaust
Ktec induction kit
Zero Point One carbon shifter
Some renaultsport floor mats!
A private plate CL10 FKU
And a map at rs tuning. Now running 195bhp the car feels great and is a completely different buzz to the boost mobile!

Future plans are renaultsport sideskirts and front splitter, alloy refurb, gloss black spoiler and a few Mark's touching up.

Small but expensive update.

Meggy hall is currently at my local garage in for sorting an oil leak out, a fresh mot and my bc coilovers fitting!! While up on the ramp I've asked them to check everything over aswell as hunting a squeak, when turning lock to lock like parking at low speed and the occasional knock when going from first to reverse, or Visa versa.

They found play in a lower ball joint and my front pads have collapsed (well one has come away from the backing plate! One carefully lady owner!)

So I'm now waiting on an order from ktec of new ball joints, upper and lower for both sides, along with some performance friction pads.
