shows how 2 kids can melt your logical aptitude into a pile of goo,
15 seconds on visu says lh headlight and rh headlamp, being factory xenon that would axplain things.

thank you all for letting me be a moron!

As you mention, Coslad are the discharge/Xenon headlights if fitted.
I can also see that you have either a multiplex network configuration or circuit fault with the injection computer as it shows a thick red line denoting a problem, even though you do not have the ignition turned on.

The steering lock (1088 ) is only diagnosable through the UCH(645) and can be interrogated with the card in the slot and pressing the start button once, this will give you around 3 minutes to check the UCH for column lock codes.
If you are having erratic column lock issues, remove the cowlings and check that the security bolt is not loose (it is lefthand thread) as it can jam the lock pin.

When you mean "Virginised" do you mean its a used item that has supposedly been cleared of any previous chassis numbers/immobiliser codes? As from my experience it will be a new column lock at least.
How ever I will do some diag process information checking over the next couple of days, but in the meantime can you check fuse F5D in the Upc (engine bay fused computer) to see if any 5amp fuses are blown or damaged wires/ connection blocks

Soo negative 3 degrees is not ideal weather to be diagnosis, I've double checked the connections and the fuses and replaced them with new ones just for the giggle, I checked power to pin 2 and pin 5 on the lock and nothing,IMG-20250102-WA0003.webpIMG-20250102-WA0005.webp

Bet the neighbours love you working on your car in the early hours.
The 12v supply from upc is on pin 5 of the lock connector and the earth is on pin 1, the other pins are effectively data and lock motor positions lines between the uch and lock.
If you go to the upc and find connector PEH terminal 1, with it still plugged in do you have 12 volts output when you try to switch the ignition on?

Only copped the clock, no I disconnect the battery save it dying incase of a parasitic loss, I'll check that when I get home,
