In the days when I used to collect 21 Turbos. Had these 3, red was a shed , white one was a minter and the blue one somewhere in the middle. Thought the French flag would make a good pic :0)

That happened to @johnspin and @phil21turbo as well

My Quadra had an engine bay fire with its last owner in 1999, I bought it from the scrap yard and rebuilt it in 2000

Mine was stolen and fired the same day in the evening, it was not due to mechanical failure.

R21 2L Turbo is easy to stole, and in the 90's, was one of the most stolen car.

I had a fire once in the engine bay, but luckily i was just driving past a Restaurant and the cook came running out with an extinguisher, so I had to change a few pipes and wirings and new color. Sheer luck
A friend of mine was lucky to, the Turbo feed pipe broke and it caught fire in a second. Because his 21 had a bad water cooling system, he had lots of water in the trunk and managed to tame the fire with it...
Since, we know that we got "hot" cars
