Just make sure to get your locking pin in the correct slot in the crank web, there are potentially a variety of drilled balance holes around there too.
Nice tip, cheers. Think it's right, the pin fits snug in the hole and the far right hand piston (near the gearbox) looked to be at the top of its travel. Used a long screwdriver to see.
I would also be doing as you have but make sure the flywheel TDC line is inline on the gearbox bellhousing timing marks aswell so you know you have correct TDC
To be honest, I never knew of the marks on the fly wheel. And it came off when I stripped the engine. Could be anywhere now. Would this matter if I've used the pin and aligned the cams?
